This year is special as we mark the 20th year of this event for the children of St. Jude. The  goal for this 20th annual show is $20,000 - and there is  a benefactor who will match donations to help reach that goal! So, come on and help to reach that goal!

Please invite everyone you
know to contribute to finding the cure for childhood cancer. Check out the The Singers/Songwriters for St.Jude website to learn more about these outstanding artists who are donating their time, talent and money for this cause.

Help Fund MaryJustice Lucas to Romania Orphanage Mission Trip

MaryJustice Lucas is a multi-award winning songwriter and singer, who started writing songs and music at age 11. She has been recording and performing from the Nashville/Middle Tennessee area and Northern Alabama since age 14. Currently, MaryJustice is a senior at Kentucky Mountain Bible College.

MaryJustice has always had a heart to help people in need and has performed many benefits for several worthy causes and organizations. Last summer, she interned at a local church as Youth Praise and Worship Leader/Counselor. In December, 2015, she went to Guatemala with Mission Firefly to minister to children in a remote Mayan village. She is  currently teaching a children's Sunday School class near KMBC, as her Field Ministry.

Visit her website and get acquainted with MaryJustice by reading her biography, watching slideshows, etc. Also listen to her music at ReverbNation and MySpace. MaryJustice is also on Facebook.
The Romanian Campaign

I am full of joy to share with you that God has called me to go on a mission trip with Vision Beyond Borders and a small group from my college, to Romania over my spring break, March 11-19. The reason this is so last minute is because the trip was originally for a different country. I wanted to go, but I wasn’t CALLED to go. And I had accepted that. But then, when my teacher announced that the trip had been changed to Romania, and that we would be ministering to orphans in a local orphanage, God put a tug on my heart that I could not deny.  We will also be reaching out to surrounding Gypsy villages, with people who are also in need of the love and hope of Jesus Christ. I am so hopeful and excited to see how God is going to move and use us in Romania, but I also know WE will come away blessed by them.

The total cost is 2,000 dollars. That includes the plane tickets and food/housing (we will be staying at the orphanage and eating there too. I’m so glad that we will be able to stay with the children).

I am asking you to prayerfully consider donating money to financially support me on going to Romania to share Jesus with the lost and the broken. Donations may be made via GoFundMe (click link below logo).

If money is not an option for you, I sincerely ask for your prayers for me and our group to stay in God’s Will and do all that HE wants to be done in Romania.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to let me share my heart with you!

And thank you in advance for your prayers and donations!

Sincerely,

MaryJustice

Special Day! Special Announcement!

Our very own, Homegrown Songwriter from Our Sweet Home Alabama, MaryJustice Lucas turned 21 today. But, instead of being at home to celebrate with friends and family, she is away at Kentucky Mountain Bible College with back-to-back classes.

God has blessed MaryJustice with many talents and has given her a heart to serve Him by donating her time and talents to raise money for charities and benefits. She started supporting benefits at age 14 and has been faithful to pitch in for the cause. Even when she had to appear via video, she still raised money!

Now, MaryJustice is reaching out to friends, family and fans to support her in raising money for a mission trip with Vision Beyond Borders and students from KMBC  to an orphanage in Romania.

Here are the details:

Come Meet Billy Droze

Born in Lafayette, Louisiana in 1986, the 10th of 12 children, Billy Ryan Droze grew up in Alabama.

As far back as he can remember, he knew that music was his life. “It’s as if I was inserted with a computer chip that made my life revolve around music.” But, the reason is just as likely the influence of his father, Bob Droze, a dedicated country, gospel, and bluegrass musician. Billy was on stage with his dad by the time he was 4 years old, and spent his childhood singing with him everywhere from churches to bluegrass festivals to honkytonks, developing a passion for traditional country, gospel, and roots music that has influenced him ever since. He learned to play guitar when he was 12, and as a teenager would perform anywhere, anytime, for anyone who would listen, sometimes walking miles down country roads, carrying his guitar, just for the chance to play a few songs.

When Billy was 16, his dad had moved to Texas, so he followed him there and spent a year or so playing with his band. After rambling around Texas for a while, he decided it was time to move to Nashville and has lived there ever since. He continued to play anywhere he could, constantly honing his skills as a songsmith and musician. Using the name, Billy Ryan, his ever-growing fan base dramatically increased singing lead on several tours for the Grammy-winning Shenandoah.

After a family tragedy, Billy felt the need for a change of scenery. Billy booked a thirteen-city, nine-country tour of Eastern Europe to promote his third independent album, “Ready For The Ride” which was extremely well-received by fans and reviewers. ”Ready For The Ride” earned him three #1 singles on the European Hot Disc charts.  This tour also led him to Lithuania where he found his soul mate.  When he returned to the United States, it was with his new wife, Marija and their son Nickie.  Billy has appeared in “Country Weekly” numerous times, as well as other magazines and Web sites in the US and Europe. Billy has had 2 major-network country music videos.

And, this “truly unique artist and highly prolific songwriter, with lyrics that dig deep into the heart of life, melodies and guitar style that combine his traditional roots with a modern twist that’s all his own, and a voice so beautiful, earthy and sincere that every song gives you goose bumps,” is just getting started.
